Our first stop is Acre (Akko) — one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and a place where civilizations have met for thousands of years. For centuries, Acre served as an important gateway to the Holy Land. During the Crusader period, European knights arrived here on their way to Jerusalem, and the city became a major international center of trade, culture, and military power. As we explore the Old City, we will discover the layers of history left behind by different civilizations, including Crusaders, Ottomans, and many others. One of Acre's most dramatic historical moments occurred in 1799, when Napoleon Bonaparte attempted to capture the city during his campaign in the Middle East. Despite his military successes, Napoleon was unable to conquer Acre, which became one of the greatest setbacks of his career. From Acre, we continue north to Rosh Hanikra, one of Israel's most spectacular natural wonders. Here, the waves of the Mediterranean have slowly carved their way through the white limestone cliffs, creating a magnificent system of sea grottoes. The combination of turquoise water, sunlight, reflections, and the sound of the waves creates a natural display of colors and movement unlike anywhere else in Israel. Experience a day where ancient walls, legendary battles, and the power of nature come together along Israel's beautiful northern coast.
