Despite his military successes, Napoleon was unable to conquer Acre, which became one of the greatest setbacks of his career. From Acre, we continue north to Rosh Hanikra, one of Israel's most spectacular natural wonders. Here, the waves of the Mediterranean have slowly carved their way through the white limestone cliffs, creating a magnificent system of sea grottoes.
